Odiorne's debut album Heavy Wish was produced by the band and Bill Racine at Tarbox Road Studios. The album features arrangements and guest performances by Mercury Rev's Jonathan Donahue and Anthony Molina, as well as Bill Racine, Jason Molina (Longwave), James Burgess, and many more. Heavy Wish features intricate arrangements with symphonic treatments on top of heavy backbeats. Each member contributes their influence and the results feature elements of rock, avant-experimentalism, jazz, and post-punk.
